Nothing says summer quite like good food, great friends, and gearing up for Old Home Days! Our crew worked hard getting the fry booth set up and ready for another successful Old Home Days. A huge thank you to everyone who pitched in—it's amazing what can be accomplished when we work together. Speaking of upgrades...our new trailer made its debut, and it's already a crowd favorite! A big round of applause goes to Corey for helping make this vision a reality. It's going to make operations smoother than ever. The raffle truck was also on display, giving everyone a chance to admire this year's prize. Of course, no summer gathering would be complete without an outstanding cookout. Hats off to our talented chefs, who kept everyone well-fed with a delicious meal. Adding to the patriotic spirit, Kevin took center stage as MC for a reading of the Declaration of Independence, followed by a spirited rendition of Yankee Doodle on the fife. It was a memorable way to celebrate our nation's history and kick off the festivities with plenty of red, white, and blue pride. Thanks to everyone who helped make the evening such a success as we prepared for Old Home Days!
A few important reminders:
Last call for the fishing trip, we need more participants to make it happen, without enough interest the trip may have to be canceled. Hartford Yard Goats game tickets are $45 per person, and it's shaping up to be another fun club outing. We still have many openings on this year's speaker schedule so if you have ideas for interesting topics or know someone who would make a great presenter, please share your suggestions or contacts with Kevin Reich.
Old Home Days:
OHD was another tremendous success, and it wouldn't have happened without the dedication of many hardworking members. A special thank you goes to Bob and Kevin Keily for the countless hours they invested from start to finish. Congratulations to Kevin St. John, who stepped into his new role as Treasurer and immediately jumped into the action. Mark Cibula did an outstanding job managing the trailer bar. Cap for leading our car raffle and driving the entire initiative to a highly successful finish. Ashley for figuring out how to set up electronic payments, officially bringing our organization into the modern digital age. A huge round of applause goes to Corey, whose contributions seemed endless. He prepared the new trailer, made sure both the truck and Cap were well taken care of during the parade, took the lead on the fry booth operation, and lent a hand with the raffle efforts as well. The new trailer looked great and performed even better, thanks to his hard work and attention to detail. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy. Events like Old Home Days are successful because of members who step up, pitch in, and make things happen.

A Message From Our President
President’s Message
What an incredible way to kick off the 2026–2027 Rotary year!
Old Home Days was a tremendous success, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing Rotarians. A special thank you to Cory, our “master of the fry booth,” along with Bob, Kevin Kiely, and Andrea, whose experience and leadership helped keep everything running smoothly throughout the weekend.
To everyone who volunteered—whether you worked the fry booth, marched in the parade, sold raffle tickets, or jumped in wherever you were needed—thank you. From oil burns and cheese sauce to long hours and tired feet, your hard work and commitment to serving our community never go unnoticed.
I am incredibly proud to be President of this club. Watching our members come together to serve, support one another, and have fun while doing it reminds me why East Hampton Rotary truly is the Best Club—Bar None!
Thank you all for making our first major event of the Rotary year such a success. I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together next!
