Installation 2026!

Last Wednesday evening, June 24, our club gathered at 1851 Bar & Grill to celebrate one of Rotary's most meaningful traditions—our annual Installation Dinner. It was a wonderful evening of fellowship as we reflected on another successful year of service and looked ahead to an exciting new Rotary year.

We extend our sincere gratitude to outgoing President Kyle Chmielecki for his dedication, leadership, and countless hours of service throughout the 2025-2026 Rotary year. Kyle guided our club through another impactful year, and we thank him for everything he has done for East Hampton Rotary.

During the evening, we proudly installed our 2026-2027 Board of Directors:

  • President – Ashley Wolf
  • President-Elect – Cap Egan
  • Vice President – Nicole McKenzie
  • Treasurer – Kevin St. John
  • Director – Bob Drewry
  • Sergeant-at-Arms – Alan Gardner
  • Secretary - David Quast (not present)
  • Immediate Past President – Kyle Chmielecki

The celebration also included several well-deserved recognitions. Congratulations to Cap Egan, who was named Rotarian of the Year for her unwavering commitment and dedication to our club. We also proudly presented Paul Harris Fellow Awards to Peter Strickland and Karen Terry in recognition of their outstanding service and generous support of the ideals of Rotary.

As we begin a new Rotary year, we look forward to building on the successes of the past while continuing to live our motto of Service Above Self. Here's to another year of friendship, service, and making a positive impact in our communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special evening. We can't wait to see what the 2026-2027 Rotary year has in store!

This week's Rotary meeting is getting a patriotic makeover!

Come celebrate America 250 with us at a fun-filled cookout instead of our regular meeting. Break out your best red, white, and blue attire and join your fellow Rotarians for an evening of great food, fellowship, and fun! (at the Bar area)

🌭 Burgers & Hot Dogs
🍔 All the Fixin's
🎯 Maybe even a few yard games!

It's the perfect opportunity to kick back, enjoy some summer weather, and celebrate our nation's upcoming 250th birthday with your Rotary family.

We hope to see everyone there—don't forget to wear your patriotic colors!

A Message From Our President

Welcome to a brand-new Rotary year!

First, thank you for allowing me the honor and privilege of serving as your President for the 2026-2027 Rotary year. During my installation, I shared my vision of continuing to make a difference in our communities while placing an even greater focus on the children of East Hampton and Marlborough. As a parent myself, I truly believe that investing in our youth is one of the greatest ways we can strengthen the future of our communities.

I also spoke about the importance of coming together as one club. We won't always agree on everything, but we all share the same goal—to serve others and make our communities better. I hope this year is filled with teamwork, friendship, laughter, and meaningful service.

As we kick off the year, we're also trying something new! You're reading the first edition of The Bell using ClubRunner's new newsletter format. We appreciate your patience as we learn the system and work out the kinks. Our hope is that this becomes a great way to keep everyone informed, connected, and engaged with everything happening in our club.

Thank you for taking the time to read The Bell, and thank you for everything you do to make the East Hampton Rotary Club the Best Club—Bar None!

Here's to a fantastic year ahead!

Yours in Rotary,

Ashley Wolf
President, 2026-2027
