The East Hampton Rotary Club proudly celebrated the beginning of a new Rotary year as members, family, and friends gathered to install the club's 2026–2027 officers and recognize several outstanding Rotarians for their dedication and service.
Leading the club this year is President Ashley Wolf, joined by an exceptional leadership team that includes President-Elect Cap Egan, Vice President Nicole McKenzie, Treasurer Kevin St. John, Director Bob Drewry, Sergeant-at-Arms Alan Gardner, Secretary David Quast and Immediate Past President Kyle Chmielecki.
The evening also served as an opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of the past year. The club extends its sincere appreciation to Kyle Chmielecki for his outstanding leadership and commitment throughout the 2025–2026 Rotary year. His dedication helped strengthen the club and further its mission of "Service Above Self."
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Rotarian of the Year Award to Cap Egan, recognizing her exceptional commitment, enthusiasm, and countless contributions to the club and its many service projects.
The club was also honored to present Paul Harris Fellow Awards to Peter Strickland and Karen Terry in recognition of their outstanding service and dedication to the ideals of Rotary. The Paul Harris Fellow designation is one of Rotary's highest honors and recognizes individuals who exemplify Rotary's spirit of service and generosity.
As the East Hampton Rotary Club embarks on another exciting year, President Ashley Wolf shared her enthusiasm for continuing the club's tradition of service while expanding opportunities to make a positive impact throughout the East Hampton and Marlborough communities.
